The sun is almost out of sight
My wings are broken and I won't sleep tonight
I'm running out of precious time
Stuck between the past and the future and I can't make this last
Transfixed in hesitation
If only what we hoped for came without mediation
I'd rather not compromise
Can't negotiate this, Hear this sound, Another failed motion
Just close your eyes and dream
Just close your eyes, falling down into nothing
We can hold on to each other
Don't let go don't look down
Don't let go don't look down
When this all ends we will never ever ever know
We will never ever know
We will never ever know
I'm so scared please don't leave me
My fears have all come true here and now
One last interpretation
Black skies and field cut to shreds
Wet withered trees, the scenery
Smoldered rocks all stained with sand
Water running red from the broken hourglass in hand
Don't look down don't let go
Don't look down don't let go
Stuck between the past and the future and I can't make this last
Stuck between the past and the future and I can't make this last
Stuck between the past and the future and I can't make this last
Stuck between the past and the future and I can't make this last
Don't look down don't let go

New wave of Gothic Rock at it's finest. This band has top level talent from well renowned acts involved so wasn't the least bit surprised upon hearing the opening track. If you miss late 80's to mid 90's gothic rock bands, I can't recommend this one enough. m4rkos1334

Cool Goth Rock from Louisville! I’m way out of my normal genre with this addition. Sleep all day, party all night. It’s fun to be a vampire. TheBreakfastClub

Two of the best songs of any genre that I've heard in some time. Haunting atmosphere, rough edges, real emotion, but a bit of playfulness. Ash-covered Ghoul
“Strangers” is packed with wonderfully menacing electro-goth—late-night horror movie music for vampire dance parties. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2023
